O.K. lets face it! The best product to sell online would be iPod, iPhone, Motorola phones, PS3, Xbox 360 and the list goes on, but the problem is that you cannot find those products at a real wholesale price. However, there are still other best products to sell on eBay you just need to know where to find them!
There are a lot of free eBay resources that people do not know about! These resources will actually show you "hot list" of products that are currently selling online. To be honest, I did not know about a lot of them until about 6 months into my business. My research consisted of looking up what had the most bids and I would just start my search for those products! Not really a research but I thought if it was selling than that product was the best to sell on eBay.
Basically what you need to find are the products people are searching for and it does not matter what brand they are. The brand only matters to the person searching for it, so already you will have a good chance of selling that product! The best product to sell on eBay is a niche product you would never think of. And by niche I mean the people searching for it! To define a niche is to look at it as specialty. Lets say you wanted to sell baby products, you would want to narrow it down to baby stroller and the brand of that particular stroller.
Of course when you find what products are selling you need to find the real wholesalers for those products. The shopping type mall settings for wholesalers do not work. If a company promises to have all the products in one warehouse, most likely they are the middleman.
